Het beheren van vastgoed vraagt om veel kennis en ervaring en kost u behoorlijk veel tijd en geld. De twee laatstgenoemde punten zorgen ervoor dat u het onderhoud en beheer tot het meest noodzakelijke wil beperken. Het is verstandig om meer als het noodzakelijke (voldoen aan wet en regelgeving) aan uw vastgoed te doen. Uw vastgoed heeft waarde en de potentie om in waarde te stijgen, dit levert u op de lange termijn geld op. Een waardestijging is afhankelijk van de markt, de locatie van uw vastgoed en van de staat van onderhoud. Hoe beter u uw pand heeft onderhouden, hoe groter de kans dat u bij verkoop een goede prijs krijgt. De waarde van het vastgoed is \u00e9\u00e9n van de belangrijkste redenen om aandacht te besteden aan onderhoud en beheer van uw vastgoed. Op basis van beschikbare budgetten en in de MJOP aangegeven risico\u2019s kunt u beslissingen nemen over de omvang en het tijdstip van het uitvoeren van noodzakelijke onderhoudsactiviteiten.
